At the start of the year I decided that my property was in urgent need of a total electrical rewire.
With the aid of the local branch of the Electrical Contractors Association, (E.C.A), I did a paperwork sort, and came up with a shortlist of six local companies.
I rang all of these companies on a a Sunday morning primarily to leave a message for them to pick up on Monday morning. To my great surprise however I was contacted within 30 minutes by Mr. David Lewis. Managing Director, Dontex Systems Ltd. Within a further 30 minutes he was at my property discussing the job.
My judgement told me that,
(1) he was interested in doing the job.
(2) that he knew what he was talking about.
(3) and probably the most important thing, that I could rely on him.
He gave me a competitive quote compared to the others, who eventually responded some weeks later. As a result of this I gave him the contract.
The job was subsequently finished to my complete satisfaction and a compliance certificate was issued. There are a number of points I would like to highlight,
(1) the job was both started and finished on time
(2) the initial quoted price was kept to.
(3) in my opinion the job was technically well carried out.
At all times during this work Mr.Lewis and his employees were easy to contact and were receptive to my ideas and changes. From the customers perspective the fact that they saw the job through from start to finish was a real bonus.
As a result of my experiences with Mr.David Lewis and Dontex Systems Ltd I would have no hesitation in recommending them for work of a similar nature.
